Location An easy 90-minute drive North East from Melbourne, the region is an ideal location as Victoria’s thoroughbred homeland, which has and will continue to produce some of Australia’s top stallions due to a perfect blend of climate and knowledge. The area is also surrounded by attractions such as world-renowned wineries, river systems and the Mangalore Airport. Victoria is the industry leader in country racing, with higher average prizemoney of anywhere in Australia with a number of racetracks located in the nearby vicinity, including Seymour, Bendigo, Kilmore, Benalla, Echuca and Wangaratta.
